• Reversible blockage of the actions of ACh at muscarinic receptor

decrease salivation, bronchial secretions, prevent reflex bradycardia, hypnotic
and narcotic

• Excessive dosage: tachycardia, restlessness, flushing, absence of sweating, pyrexia
• Synergistic
effect hypnotic and narcotic effect with morphine
